"Welcome to the soundset for the Behringer Cat synthesizer.
«Analog Classics» is a collection of 60 patches: 18 Leads, 16 Basses, 16 Plucks, 5 Chords, 5 FX.
It includes famous sounds that are found in many electronic tracks, from vintage to modern, musical solo timbres; retro basses that will fit into any track or performance. The patches will add uniqueness to your music, featuring the characteristic sound introduced by the Behringer Cat.

Plucks are excellent for use with arpeggiators or sequencers. In most examples of this category, I utilize an arpeggiator. Behringer Cat doesn’t have a built in arp/seq, but you may integrate your preferred arpeggiators or sequencers from your DAW or MIDI controller.

Chords are patches that involve intervals between the oscillators, such as major/minor thirds and others, creating the illusion of a chord.

The presets are suitable for a variety of genres, including: ambient, electronica, IDM, deep, techno, house, progressive, trance, lounge, downtempo, funk, jazz, pop, chill out, new age, cinematic, breaks, jungle, drum and bass, dub and others.

The soundset is presented in the form of PDF-Document. Each page contains notes that explain how the patch works, what parameters are worth tweaking during playback, and how to develop the timbre during a performance.

There are audio examples of all patches inside the folder with the soundset.

A demo of a effect sound i made, Under the Name The Abyss, its a strange sound. And only the EX5 can achieve this type of sounds, I used no external FX for this and there is almost no layered tracks, mostly one continous recorded track. I used the AWM/FDSP engine for this, Cheers!

The French producer and artist will be back in Nantes, his hometown, for this exceptional evening. Joachim Garraud will present a preview of the film "Modular California Vibes", a documentary on electronic music creation on board his solar mobile studio where 4 producers will record 4 original tracks in 4 unusual places during 4 days, thanks to the sun. A debate will follow the unique screening of this film in France, to then give way to a concert. Joachim Garraud at SynthFest France, the musical event in Nantes not to be missed.

"In December 2020, thanks to Kickstarter contributors, we achieved a successful campaign for Anyma Phi, the compact desktop monophonic physical modelling synthesizer. Six months later, we delivered it to our contributors.

Since then, we listened to the users feedback and worked on a more powerful and full featured instrument: Anyma Omega. Based on Anyma Phi synth engine, we designed Anyma Omega, a powerful hybrid polyphonic and multitimbral synthesizer. "Short demonstration of a user defined audio analysis played from a Continuum on an Onde from La Voix du Luthier (audio recording: you can hear the friction noise on the Continuum surface ;-) ).

The original audio sample that was analyzed was kindly provided by Deep Forest (can you guess what song it is coming from ?). It was analyzed with the tools we are currently working on at Haken Audio (demonstrated at last Superbooth) and played realtime as an additive set by the Eagan Matrix (synth engine of the Continuum, also shared with Expressive-E Osmose). Only a very small part of the analysis is used here.

Diverging from the well trodden path of analog emulations and 80’s retro remakes, Mysticism takes your System-8 on a left field journey deep into Roland’s ACB synth engine. Utilising its refined oscillator algorithms, iridescent filters and effects, and immersing them into a mystical world of swirling sonic adventure!

The System-8 is already packed full of vintage Jupiter Juno & JX tones, and that’s where this sound bank’s possibilities only begin!

- Sideband Sensation
Without a doubt the sideband filter types are my favourite System-8 feature. With it, colourful glassy fragments smear downwards in sounds like 'Forest Glade', whilst the distant undulation of the title preset – 'Mysticism' softly absorbs your sonic senses. 'Lost Sailors' conjures aquatic memories of times gone by, whereas 'Space Tapestry' sews together newer sci-fi arpeggios.

- Formant Fondant
Another sweet feature with the System-8 is the formant filters, which enable vowel like textures to be imparted on the synths oscillators. I’m palpably (sad I know!) proud of the preset 'Sith Lord' with it’s deep and sinister whispers that Emperor Palpatine might hold a light sabre to, and 'Formant Fairies' which might fit nicely into some EDM genre or other. Whilst another highlight is 'Ahh 1080', but steady on man… leave that JV alone!

- Frequenting FM
FM on the System-8 is FM for the rest of us. It’s refreshing to be able to get many of the best FM timbres and process them through the S-8’s filters and FX. Beautiful EPs like 'Much is Clear' and 'Ellie Scolding' hold up next to deep ambiences such as 'Ionospheres' and 'Stella Sails'."
